Chris Brown Hair

Chris Brown's hair

Chris Brown is among those new age American artists, who began their career early and shot to fame very soon. He has released several bestselling albums and his singles have occupied top positions on the popularity charts. Chris Brown is not very elaborate in his sense of style and usually dons casual sportswear. His simple getup makes it easier to adapt him in drawing. The following systematic instructions are meant to show you how to draw Chris Brown quickly:

Reference image. Obtain an appropriate reference picture of the artist. Make up your mind about the type of portrait you want, shoulder length, full-length

or anywhere in between. Again, it is a matter of choice whether you want to show him performing, posing, or naturally moving about. You can get a wide variety of choices on the internet.

Size and scale. If your selected picture does not correspond to the size of your drawing area, scale it accordingly. You need to study the placements and ratios of the various part of the picture vis-à-vis each other.

Outlines. Divide the frame into logical horizontal parts to maintain the proportions of the model image. Sketch very light outlines (as they will be erased later) for the whole figure. Keep in mind the posture, view, and structure of the figure. Employ the basic geometrical shapes for each feature, say a circle for the face. Use a vinyl eraser that does not wear out the drawing base surface greatly.

Facial features. Begin drawing the outermost identifiable contours for each individual component and proceed inwards, defining the details. For example, take up eye sockets, curvilinear lines for nose, semicircles for ears, and so on, as the exterior contours. This will keep you on track, while bringing out the inner features.

Distinguishing Factors. Chris Brown's face has certain remarkable characters, like the broad nose, thick lips, dense eyebrows, small eyes, etc. His face has a square shape that visibly tapers down, making it a typical structure to capture. Brown has an average body-type and is often represented in free-style dancing forms.

Hair. Chris Brown wears very short hair, which is mostly devoid of any significant styling. However, on certain occasions, you can find him in a distinctive hairdo, resembling a tattooed star. Overall, this does not pose a challenge in terms of drawing.

Shading. Employ appropriately aligned slating lines and shading. This adds the effect of light and highlights the features. Use pencils of varying hardness and a blending tool such as a tortillion to complete the picture. For a color drawing, use graded tones of similar colors to bring about the shading.
